George Henry
Panelist: Preserving the HBCU Tennis Legacy
George Henry, Director of Tennis Operations at Bethune Cookman College. Henry has over 35 years of tennis coaching and administrative experience, most recently as the manager of the SE Tennis and Learning Center in Washington, D.C. In addition, Henry has served as the Tennis Director for the Harlem Armory Tennis Center and the Long Island Regional Director for the United States Tennis Association. He also helped trained Serena and Venus Williams during their formative days, as the new.
He also is president of GTen Services Inc., a North Miami-based company that trains, instructs and manages professional tennis players. In 1994, Henry worked as a tennis instructor at the Richard Williams Tennis Association, where he helped train Venus and Serena Williams while serving as a consultant to their father.
On the collegiate level, Henry has served as Head Coach for Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pa.
